Firstly, interest from notes is passive in nature and not considered to be a trade or business that would create UBIT exposure.Secondly, a Solo 401(k) has no exemption at all for UBIT.In the real estate fund space, one needs to be aware of UBIT in entities where the income is generated from a trade or business, such as flipping houses or new construction of homes for immediate sale.

All of the regular home appliances that naturally wear down over use.2) ONLY APPLIES IF THEY ARE RENTING IT OUT AND NOT STAYING IN THE HOME- They can just sign up to get a phone line that they provide to their tenants so that they don't receive calls anymore and our troubleshooting network can, troubleshoot, diagnose, and if necessary dispatch.If you still don't see value I'd love more insight this only helps me understand our environment better.

Naturally, for every property I buy I purchase a hazard and liability policy from my insurance agent  for that specific property.I am being told now that because this company flips that I need to purchase an additional general contracting policy in the event a subcontractor makes a mistake.
