I already have a contractor and would like to add another but I was wondering if there are other methods in acquiring good contacts besides the yellow pages/internet.

Not only is it the best place on the Internet to find real advice from active investors, but where better to meet your future buyers and grow your business network??

The big problem i have is i am looking to transfer my cable and internet from where i previously lived to this space.

REIA's are great, you could also start/host a BP meetup in your area.

I'm looking for something where I can use the internet to change the door code to let in guests, housecleaners etc....     

There is a lot of information to be gleaned from those, and you can listen to them while you sit on the Dan Ryan, going nowhere...A local investment group is a really good idea, there is one on the north side (I think) that is hosted (?)
