Know this:  you're not paying for the inspection so you're not entitled to demand it.

Aside from redoing the floor and installing thick rubber noise barrier, which will be very expensive, what do folks recommend on solutions to decrease the impact noise heard on the 1st floor?

Hey Joe,I agree with the folks above - garbage disposals don't add value and are just a pain.

I always think of Wyoming as being beautiful and peaceful and only nice folks there, and my city (LA) and my former city (New York) as being the main places all the crazy folks are.

I would love to hear folks stories of how they put together creative funding and the stories associated with these experiences.Thanks!
