If a section 8 tenant applies you do your normal background check like anyone else and if they qualify then the local office will schedule an inspection and provide the list of updates, if any, that need to happen. 

That Island is about to turn and will soon be filled with nice updated vacation homes.

I recently purchased a property in MI that only requires cosmetic updates I.e floor refinish, paint, new knobs, new cabinets, clean up etc.

Hey everyone,Here in Texas, we have services like Propelio that provide daily updates to the foreclosure list. 

They have the updated rent roll and a P&L for 2016, 2017 and 2018 that they took from their tax returns!

I ordered a reappraisal and met the appraiser there this time and provided them with my own comps and and pointed out all the new features and updates.

LO should have run updated credit once you went into escrow.

Keep at it though, keep them updated (even if they don't ask) and you'll start to notice a little more interest and open mindedness.

It’s a 3 story, 3 family, 3k sqft, 1908 Victorian, 2 bedrooms each, 7 miles from NYC, and rental comps reflect about $2300 a piece if rehabbed (top unit/floor was updated about 8 years ago).
