It was under market, so we just gave the tenants proper notice and raised the rent.

I'm not a lawyer but it does not seem to indicate an order that they need to be done other than giving them certain amounts of notices which we have done.

HUD, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and other REO properties are really no different from any other - the rehab numbers and the ARV still work the same, and every property has to be considered on a case by case basis.The only different hassle with HUD properties really is in the red tape involved in working with HUD servicers such as HomeTelos and BidSelect - each of which bring their own quirky rules with regards to processing the contract and closing.

If they do something you think is wrong, accepting too low of a credit score, not serving a notice to vacate at the agreed upon time, accepting partial rent without consulting you, etc. etc. you have the opportunity to correct them.
