Hi all currently own 2 acre parcel close to downtown phoenix and are looking to build a apartment complex on it.

Seems like a complex deal for someone not living in the states.

Because I have a tenant that hasn't paid me in 15 months and it's filed with the courts but no court date yet..

I am about to head to the court house to look for tax liens and foreclosure notices.

Also I have sold all my other Cook County properties for several reasons: Cook County taxes, eviction courts.

I love in a apartment complex, have been here 7 years, they did a walkthrough prior to my renewing my lease in may, had a list of things they were supposed to fix, its now october and some things havent been done. when i asked the property manager about this she says the walk through wasn't done. she put in a work order with me listed as the originator and said they are coming in on tuesday to do the tub faucet which i have already fixed.

And beta gives you the number for that.As an owner of over 20 apartment complexes, I thought this was a good conversation to watch so wanted to share with everyone. 

You can still take them to court and seek a judgment for money owed.

I'm guessing I can sue for damages, i.e. small claims court or something similar, but I can't stop this person from vandalizing/damaging the other unit and common area?

We just closed on a 200 unit apartment complex there.
