In an effort to increase my income after realizing I wasn't going to be making decent wages for financial independence at my low paying hourly government job, I made a vision board / specific life plan with my fiancee and then an opportunity came and I left WA and am now in Denver on a 1099 as a solar panel sales rep.

At 25, I was able to buy my first property anyway, in a city that was fairly expensive (Redmond, WA) solely because of a partnership.

If agents are brokers in your state like they are in WA you could do 'the not boring broker'. 

Being an election year though, I think current and future administrations will do their best to prop up the economy (even if it is falsely propped) for the next year.

@Khanesia Washington I know several landlords that would accept an applicant with no rental history if they have a valid reason - such as if they were living with their parents, or owned a home.
