These properties sold during winter which I think played a role... as mentioned before sub 350k is tough to get now so knowing what areas should be priced at and trying to scoop properties below that is a very obvious, but tried and true method to build equity, particularly if you're okay with buying properties that need a facelift.Did you work with any real estate professionals (agents, lenders, etc.) that you'd recommend to others?

Well, while that can be true IF the deal really is a great one, it requires you to perform the transaction illegally in many cases.

This is not true for most agents, especially for those just starting out, or in smaller markets.

Sale rep said the only product available is "All Data", which includes national and international. Consequently I have to pay much more for data that I don't need. Heard about it on the expiration date of my annual co...

Just beacuse someone says they are- doesn't make it true. 

Similar homes that are true duplexes in the area, with similar sqaure footage, bathroom and BR numbers have half the tax burden.

I saw your other Post about all of Bloomington's apartments being classified as "B" properties, if that is true then some B's you'll want to avoid like the plague.. 

And according to my research from other sources (sorry if I'm totally wrong, just noting I'm a complete noob), what he is saying is true.
