Canned messages work better IMO through Airbnb; they recently introduced scheduled messages based on a few triggers like a confirmed booking, check-in, and check-out.

If the inverse is true, they owe 200K and its worth 300K but they can't make payments because of a loss of job, injury etc, then perhaps a deal could be made that allows them to get some the equity out, and keep a foreclosure off the books.

@David Pere I was assuming a traditional loan would have to be used for long distance, therefore my current plan is to use the VA benefit for a house hack once I've separated within the next year, just didn't know if I should pull the trigger with a traditional if I happen to come across a great opportunity while still overseas.
