@Dave Hart There are no tax benefits to a LLC, unless investing with a non-spousal partner.The taxation of the LLC will just about be always a "pass-thru" entity.

I had to jump in though because I was advised that you can be sued for the equity in your houses, not for the remainder with a loan on it (basically that portion is considered your lender's, so can't be taken in court).

Even if you borrowed $130,000 which is more than you need at 13% which is what BRRRR lenders would charge a newbie, that is a monthly payment of about $1,450 and you would probably pay 3 points up front which would be about $4,000.

There are many lenders that will not do loans to LLC entities . 

I am also looking for a VA lender to see what I generally prequalify for. 

We require a criminal, eviction and credit score background check (I use Keycheck for this), a state-specific lease, and we collect both refundable and non-refundable deposits.
