@Jose RamirezHELOC's are very hard to come by for investment properties, they are also short term loans that are typically interest only with a balloon payment at the end.

I've tried contacting Chase multiple times for an explanation because that just makes no sense to me considering we bought it as an investment property and our intentions were never for it to be our primary residence.

The appraisal I expect to come in at about $650k when it's all said and done meaning the refi at the end of this should result in very little out of pocket in total.The issue for me is the lending side of this deal.
