I'm partnered with someone who has been in development for 30+ years in traditional commercial assets like office, industrial and retail, but self-storage is a new arena and we're seeking some help.

Hey @Frantzy Louis - I haven't done a commercial deal in a few months but I can tell you that there's a compression going on right now in the industry.

Many are specific to the individual that I am meeting with but there are some questions that I have taken from John Maxwell's book "Good Leaders Ask Great Questions."

And to boot it is a very fragmented industry with loads of opportunity to institutionalize.

Consulted other like companies with industry methods and techniques.

However, it's not my side of the industry so I'd say that I'm hopeful, but have low expectations.

It can be hard finding deals, but that's why meeting more people in the industry is great because they may know someone else that has that great deal for you!
