The property is filled with "previous landlords have done the absolute bare minimum for many many many years" type of stuff, for example:Units 1 and 2 need to be gutted-new kitchens, bathrooms and layouts. There's no insulation in the attic.Electric/water are shared amongst all 4 units in a confusing hodgepodge of wires and pipes.Only 2 water heaters for all 4 units. Some units have gas stoves, some have electric-not sure how gas is split up currently. No central AC/heat.

John D. Is Colorado’s future dependent on the marijuana industry?
27 September 2017 | 5 replies
We have 300 days of sunshine, amazing access to the outdoors, diverse cultural draws and relatively mild(ish) weather.I sound like a Dept of Commerce ad, but all in all I think it's pretty safe to say that if marijuana were outlawed again tomorrow, we'd have a slight relief in the absolute insanity that is our housing market and an equal amount of relief in the unbelievable traffic issues we're facing right now, but not so much that it will ever go back to the "good ol' days" when an oil and gas bust in the 80s decimated the state.

Roger S. Can a tenant refuse a scheduled entry?
3 October 2017 | 46 replies
Just leave a note saying you entered to fix or service what was needed..if they won't let you in I guess you call water dept and have water shut off at the curb if it's water related.. call gas and have gas shut off at outside of bldg if it's gas related, notify police your building is unsecured and you have attempted to secure but have been barred access and need escort.. and you file eviction emergency action for cause I always have phone camera ready..the he said , she said on this will be a ongoing situation.. get them both out.. mutual lease termination if possible.. just document noise infractions,, and damages,, police calls are not infraction if they call themselves.. if neighbor call police get copy of report.. if you call its a unsubstantiated report/ shows bias and cant' be used as reason for eviction. better if tenant or neighbor calls. One way or the other they will get out.. damages will happen and better to safe guard yourself then to get between 2 crazy people.. the cops out there will tell you the most violent unpredictable calls are domestics.. and people get hurt, killed,, don't let it be you.
