If you are legitimately permitted to deduct something, your CPA should be working with you to document the reasons WHY you qualify so an audit (in the event it even happens) becomes a no-brainer for you, them and the IRS auditor.While your CPA is correct to be fearing an audit, it feels like that's due to their incompetence in this area of tax law.
