A title company/real estate litigator could review all the documentation and determine that the statute of limitation has run and no lawsuit can be legally filed by the previous Owner against the current Owner.I also agree with Mary Mitchell.

Also, the property was previously purchased last year at the auction but for whatever reason the successful bidder did not close and backed out of it and as a result it was put back up for sale.Please provide me with some suggestions of companies that do comprehensive title searches that are not too expensive.
