What do you charge for recruiting new tenants and renewing existing leases?

The on base houses doesn't charge full bah so people can find great bargains so the area is very competitive price wise.

I am certain there are many landlords who do this; however, it is illegal; once you agree to this program you are obligated to follow what Section 8 states in terms of what rent you will charge (whether they pay it all or they pay part and your tenant pays a share).Some landlords will, however, "rent" appliances such as washers and dryers to tenants (these are not required to be provided by Section 8)  to make up for what this program sadly, determines is "market rent" for their area.Gail

It resulted in a combination price reduction and rate reduction to meet my numbers so this way the owners felt like they were in charge of the negotiations the whole time. 

Will that effect the amount of rent I can charge?

You will find a lot of false information on the Internet because a lot of companies that do drywall remediation you scare tactics so they can charge very high prices.

The market determines how much they can or can't charge.
