Hello bp, So just a Quick story, last summer one of my friends needed a place to stay after he sold his house.

We really only use the house in the Summer so that means I can rent the heck out of it.

Mike Hanneman I can't speak from personal experience on that yet but my Airbnb property manager showed me booking rates on his other units in the area and it didn't seem to slow down at all.Dallas isn't really a seasonal tourism destination, and if it was I don't know why anyone would go there in the summer when the heat will melt your face off!

Probably quite nice to sit out there in the summer evenings and early morning watching whatever is walking around.

Bookings are def much higher in summer, but I have a lot of off season bookings already!

Before I start work full time at a large accounting firm I dedicated my summer working at a real estate investment company to learn the ropes.

Good luck wth your search in MI and I hope it is fruitful, if not at least come out and enjoy a Michigan summer on a freshwater lake.

With new tenants coming in this summer (likely not affiliated with university) and the credit union moving across town I'm switching to erentpayment and paying the $36/year cost.
