I'd lived there before and loved it, but one of the things that made me choose Nashville was that it has so many of the good things Los Angeles has to offer in terms of entertainment and good food, etc. but on a much smaller scale!  

With a monthly payment of about $1600 that would be affordable for many middle class families with two income.

I can also see the argument that they have more to lose, but it seems like long-lived institutions like banks could afford to take high risk investments as long as they were profitable in the long run.

The guy can't afford an attorney so I wouldn't be afraid of a lawsuit over wrongful removal.

If for some reason she can't live there or afford to pay just let her go.
