Our north Idaho lakehouse did gangbuster business in 2020. 2021 is shaping up to be even better.

I am not building new construction up north where you are @Jay Young, but several of my general contractors are and it's very difficult to make the numbers work.

I found a property in North Lake Tahoe that looks good but I am not sure if I should trust the numbers I get from airdna.

Also, Dormont is actually pretty average tax rate wise across Allegheny county. . . .so it's just kind of a Western PA things (and PA as a whole) to have garbage tax rates. 

For multifamily properties, one difficulty has been the lack of transportation to Manhattan (unless you're close to one of the Metro North stations).
