It's my understanding that under the new regulations carriers are requiring these texting platforms to register businesses using their EIN.

Sometimes if I find a place on Homeaway I might offer doing a short term lease agreement outside of the platform.

Hey @Melanie Hernandez, AirBNB is a platform so it sounds like you want to start a competitor for AirBNB, Booking.com or VRBO.I have to assume that you mean buy a STR in either Miami or Orlando.Orlando has a lot of rentals in the mix but it can be done.Miami has a lot of restrictions within the city so you would really have to drill down.Your question needs more data.

I've watched a handful of YouTube videos on the procedures but wanted to ask if anyone on this platform has experienced it first hand and if they recommend an attorney.

I personally use Buildium, but may be switching to Cozy (the Cozy platform is free).
