Hello, I am interested in buying a small single family house in a decent neighborhood (average median house price around 450k), but the seller would want to sell the land (50x100) next to it together for an extra 100k to make a deal. hypothetically I can negotiate it a lower price for the land (any suggestion on how to determine the value for the land), what kind of investment can I make to turn the land into something profitable rather than just being wasted?

My hope is that I can pull out the full investment, which would definitely be a huge bonus.As far as management is concerned, kind of a hybrid of your points (1) and (2).

Hello all,Kind of need urgent advice on this as I'm seeing this house tonight at 7:30pm.

We have a renter who is interested in grabbing the space for car restoration.I was told I need liability if they are doing restoration of any kind.

I felt that Indy was pretty investor heavy so I kind of lost interest there.

My hubs and I are both from this state, so we go there about 2-3x/year to still visit family, and his family is an hr away from this particular city.  

I visited last year and will admit that a lot of the areas are "war zones" so to speak.
