No, I believe depreciation recapture simply gets added to your ordinary income, and then taxed accordingly (Max 25% for the recapture).

I spend more than $100,000 every month at construction supply houses and never heard that my supply house owes me better prices.I think many landlords have some serious guilt problems with it comes to making a little profit and the worse part is; many landlords give their tenants special low prices and the tenants crap all over the landlords, move, ANYWAY, and think they have the god-given right to walk away from a unit they thrash and not pay one penny for the damage.
