Large home builders will do this, but for a single home like you have the chances are slim anyone would be interested in todays market because of interest rate lock/rate fluctuation and possibility for delays.

Also, are you able to renegotiate with the builder maybe you can make it make sense?

Hi AllI am on a process to acquire a new build cabin in smoky mountain for STR, but the builder told me there will be no decking around the house = front porch due to the city regulation change.

We passed on the property as sellers were not willing to compromise… During our funding for the condo we had trouble with funding due to HOA paperwork issues with builder and underwriting.

I've seen many master planned communities from start to finish hence my interest of becoming a home builder along side my father.How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

Have you contacted the builder to let them know you want to assume ownership of the home?

The suburbs are great and the builders down there are putting in some pretty amazing neighborhoods for the price that have some incredible amenities.

I set up contractor/builder accounts all over town.
