Whether that was a duplex scenario, Accessory Dwelling Unit, or rental of a room/suite within the Host's home.  

Something to the effect of "I guest hosts are just going around trying not to think about how strangers have had sex on every surface in their home".

If the host was hustling/shilling for someone and being disingenuous in the messaging system you could inform the community.

Hosts get penalized for cancelling a reservation, I'm not sure they if they would frown upon me altering a reservation....?

I did come up with the costs by asking other experienced hosts what they typically spend.

At least on Airbnb, I believe women make up a majority of all hosts and female hosts have higher property ratings according to Airbnb.
