One of the repair items in my letter is to "uneven sidewalk" that is due to the neighbor's tree roots lifting the neighbor's sidewalk section adjacent to the "uneven" area.

So in the last 12 months these are some of those kinds of unusual expenses:- replace oil tank $1800- replace Bilco door wrecked by tenant $950- replace sewer pipe clogged with roots $2000- repair neighbors gutters that were destroyed by one of our trees $250Anyone else have unusual/extenuating expense stories?

Nothing a landlord can or should do to remedy those type of problem sources, but I give the benefit of the doubt and pay for the first time and document the root cause to assess any future requests ...

Hello, although it is not the same, Iwould like to know if I am responsible to fix a sidewalk broken by the roots ofa tree that is in HOA territory, in front of my property, between the sidewalkand the curb (got a notice by the city).
