How are you tackling getting down the learning curve?

If turnkey works for you right now then go for it... if you want to start tackling your own deals down the road you can. you dont have sign a contract to buy turnkey for every real estate deal forever.  

Long story short, he blew the deal (the "final and best" email got caught up in his spam mailbox and so I missed the Friday deadline), then he lied about it, then he sent me a long mea-culpa confessional email.

If the price was right I would tackle anything. 

Decide what aspect of real estate you want to tackle and start moving towards it.

Is this something I could tackle on my own?

However, facebook has way too much clutter, spam, and fraud so I really don't use it much for RE purposes. 

They are spamming the Denver craigslist repeatedly, so you might check there.
