Then save up as much as you can and buy a small 6-15 room motel or partner to buy something largerHotels are really expensive to get into as well.

The amount of capital required from your savings to purchase multiple properties depends on the appreciation rates.

But from an Airbnb perspective, having PMs not collect on these smaller cost items can add up to significant savings/profit.   

Some of these issues are resolvable, others seems to be impossible to solve completely requiring work arounds if you still decide to proceed with the property.
