Honestly the best way to get the hang of it is to start pretending you're looking for one now and sort of go through the motions so that along the way you have everything in place including where you're going to get your lease.

We've been spoiled into thinking rates below 5% are 'normal' interest rates for the last several years, but historically that simply isn't true.Let's pretend I'm a loan servicer, not a loan originator: If I've got money out there at 4%, and I have some completely valid & legal pretext to get that money back so I can re-lend it at 7.5% because now 7.5% is a normal interest rate again, why the heck wouldn't I?

I'm not an attorney nor have I ever done anything like that but I can totally see a tenant your trying evict coming to the court room claiming deceitful practices because you pretended to be a common neighbor meanwhile you were the owner.

@Shante Harris Seems like a consistant pattern, the same people jumping on on every wholesaler post...remember biggerpockets is just a website, its kind of like the facebook for investors....And just like facebook, people sit behind a computer and create fake lifestyles, make false statements, pretend to be this and that and bully other people.
