Virtually all basements are going to have water concerns, whether from high water table, moisture attempting to move from soil to concrete/concrete block to air, actual infiltration from walls, etc.

A house doesn't go from 70 to 50 in a few hours unless they open their windows to enjoy some fresh air.

I was looking at Air BnB but I am not sure if my property would be profitable. 

But, that argument is not a slam dunk.If you will have to wait, you might want to put a mobile home on the property, or one of the portable "tiny houses" and use it for three years, and then file your quiet title suit.
