@Enrique Saucedo, I did a substantial amount of remodeling on all of the units.The first 7 units, in Mountain View had essentially the same level of work: New flooring, new oak kitchen cabinets, new granite counter tops, new appliances, new toilets, new tile, grounding of electrical outlets, sheet rock, paint, new fixtures.

I like to add a nice tile backsplash in the kitchen and upgrade bathrooms with tile shower surrounds because I can do those myself and they add a lot of value.

I have rehabbed the unit with laminate/tile floors, new kitchen cabinets, etc... is it worth it to go to the next level with the rehab (crown moulding, custom shower, etc..) in this area?

Personally I would think it would be easier to do creative financing for this situation than to raise money for such a unique deal unless your parents really believe in you and have that much money laying around.Let us know how it turns out.

I did a $13,000 rehab, opened up one porch to the house by taking out sliders and wall to wall porcelain tile, kitchen, baths, ceilings, all walls baseboards, anyways I am getting $895 and the list of applications has several 700+ credit scores.

The rest of the house is mostly redo the kitchen, probably the bathrooms (may be able to save fixtures, but cabinets, flooring and shower tile need done), re-sand hardwood (hoping to salvage the wood by the leak?)

We couldn't resist listing it in the spring market before it was finished (tile was going in, etc), and when we didn't have offers, we weren't sure if the price was too high for the neighborhood or if people were just reluctant to offer on a house under construction.
