@Tyler Hayes   It is less likely that the way "property ownership is managed" will change because of blockchain technology than bitcoin will be banned in the United States.People who are real experts in anti-spoofing technology say changing from the current system of recording deeds would be as wise as changing your laptops communication encryption to an enigma machine emulator. 

I am guessing from your location (SF, CA) that fewer renters are toting around a refrigerator and stove in the back of a pick up truck.

Is your laptop 100% free from malware, Trojans, or simply theft?

Most people won't do this but if you're really motivate and you have a big WHY, you would.The property is an 1hr and 30min from my parents house so I visit them on the weekend, and to get a better sleep.I didnt bring much stuff only the essential: air matress, a plastic drawer with clothes, my laptop, and I bought a mini fridge from OfferUp.

And when the tenant says "little to nothing turned on", they probably aren't thinking about their washing machine, refrigerator, and maybe freezer running along with their window a/c and laptop charging.

That same year I had the window broken in my car and laptop stolen while in the city, with the insurance saying that goes against the home insurance vice the car insurance.
