I worked my full-time job, taking only a single day off to finish painting, and my wife taught the kids (this was during the COVID total shut down period), handled meals, and continued to look after the household.The reason it worked for us was the finite timeframe.

It shouldn't be at the Ritz, but you don't want to put them in some flea trap, either.I recommend looking for a vacation rental so they can still cook meals, have room for kids to play, wash laundry, and otherwise feel at home.

I'm getting ready to read the "Advanced" book but in the meantime, I have a few questions I'm hoping someone might be able to help with:- If I'm not holding my property title in my LLC, can I still take real estate related deductions on my taxes (mileage, education, meals, other expenses, etc.) or do I have to hold property in an LLC in order to deduct them?
