You can either decline and put it back on the market and hope some of your other interested parties are still interested or cave in to a shakedown. 

There was quite a few STRs operating here, but the extremely vocal Neighbor’s finally got the HOA to cave in.

It's a little white lie, but it will get you off the hook and remove any pressure from you to cave into the emotions and make a bad business decision in your new chapter in life. 

I was just delighted to have the handful of calls that I have had in my first few mailings, but was obviously hoping for more.Things I am considering: expanding my property search radius, once the snow clears doing some bandit signs, finding a couple more target groups for mailings.I also have to cut myself a little slack as I am still working full time, with two busy teenagers at home, while trying to get started in REI.

That is one thing I heard, that they go up in flames fast and depending on the build, particle board floors could easily cave in if exposed to too much moisture.Thanks!
