Should I get my real estate broker's license?

Hello! I'm fairly new to the world of Real Estate investing... I've been reading every book and listening to every podcast I can find and I'm wondering if it would be beneficial for me to get my Real Estate Broker's license? Grant Cardone said it was a waste of time in one of his videos but I think I would learn a lot from it and it may help me find really good deals. Plus, the networking would be great. I live in Chicago. Thoughts? Thanks! =)
