There was a case in Ontario that said that tenants could offer many months' rent in advance and that this would not be seen as an illegal deposit so long as the tenant voluntarily offered it and it was not a condition of tenancy.

That isn’t the case in all markets though.5)  Finally, it would be foolish to ignore the fact that there are loads of opportunities for a dishonest actor to cause harm, especially on the maintenance side: Defer maintenance, Bill for Maintenance never engaged, Request unnecessary maintenance or Mark maintenance up excessively, etc.

This is not always the case in regards to the money upfront, it depends on the lawn product if you go with a limited/streamline product or the full/standard 203k (they changed the names of the loans just recently).Feel free to call me or inbox me, I have a lot of knowledge when it comes to 203k.
