The earnest money is already in escrow with the title company. the end buyer claims to be quieting the title. it is three weeks past the closing date we set on the contract and the seller keeps calling me wanting to close. after ive already told him that i assigned the contract. can he pull out even though it is in escrow?

Hi @Donald Howaniec thanks for your reply, we had hired an inspector, he didn't say anything like "permit" , we started thinking about added toilet/restroom then I came to know about permit things, there is already a room in basement, I have doubt they pulled permit for it, because it's made in very temporary way. so now I am started thinking when inspector will come for toilet inspection, can he raise question on room, if he raise question on room then previous owner will be responsible or us?
