@Larry Johnson a good place to start is using the search tab and look up topics related to flipping.  

I would recommend KC, MO outside of the 435 loop in general, grand view, Belton, ray more, some parts of independence, north KC, and anywhere in Johnson County.  

I've also never been a big fan of using conventional financing to buy real estate, just like @Laurie Johnson says.
