I recommend connecting with your tax pro to weight the pros and cons for your situation.

If something were to happen, at least a little weight could be given to having a yearly inspection performed on the property. 

But generally speaking, politics can change rapidly when politicians are faced with serious threats (e.g. see Seattle's original plan to impose the head tax and the backlash from the tech industry).

The only way is to do business in such a way you are not being forced to carry the load of the dead wood they keep piling on top of the backs of the productive members of society.The only way is to let the socialist experiment happening right now to collapse under its own weight.
