I am looking at ways to structure my financing on this second property so that I do not make getting a conventional loan on my personal property (maybe 5 years down the line) too difficult.

I can't share this information since it's proprietary, but I participated in the Legends X and they had a list of about 15 different real life company structures for STR management companies. 

Wondering where I can begin to learn different deal structuring (waterfall, hurdles, equity splits, etc) and how to apply it to underwriting for what ever template you're using?

Wants me to bring plans and deal structure to table. 

My question is, for those of you that have multiple properties, how have you structured your financing of these properties and has it compromised your ability to get a loan on your future home?

The VA loan rules allow for a 4plex because you can live in the structure as a primary residence, and rent out the other units.

Thanks for all the helpful answers on the forum.I got an off market deal, brought it to my RE partner, he wants to househack and my DTI isn't great right now.We are trying to get  a FHA loan under his name.How can we structure this deal without an LLC, to have equal equity and income/expenses?

Also, for precast panels are you referring to the factory-built walls that have all of the electrical, insulation, and structural members inside already?
