One of the requirements for a multi is that every living unit must have independent utility services or at a minimum 1. legal provisions ensure and protect access to utilities for repairs, even if passing through other living spaces, 2. easements or covenants protect water connections, and the VA approves of a maintenance agreement; 3. there are separate service shut-offs for each unit.

You would also still have a fuse box, unless it has been replaced with a breaker panel.On the plumbing side, your main drain lines and stack are likely cast iron and would be 70-75% through their serviceable life.

We have been pretty unhappy with their services for the entire time we've been working with them, but they do the bare minimum- they found a tenant, we get paid every month and a statement in the mail.
