In short, my long-term plan is to begin investing in SFH (much lower barriers to entry) or small MFH (Duplex, TriPlex, Etc) to raise capital and build my resume with the goal in mind of getting into larger MFH/Commercial properties as quickly as I can.

Even a quick ballpark of the numbers they were giving her meant a payback period of almost a decade without the NPV factored in.I told her not to do it.It would make more sense to take that 5K "closing cost" and drop it into paying off the current note's principal.

He went over the inspection with us so quickly that it was pretty confusing and all of the areas of "flaking paint" looked the same as other parts of the exterior that he didn't seem to have an issue with, and his definition of "flaking paint" seemed VERY strict, yet not so strict for other areas of the exterior.
