Fresh paint in a light neutral color and the place being super clean & not having an Odor (maybe put in air fresheners) & taking nice bright clean photos for the rental listing is the biggest bang for your buck in my opinion.

I would avoid that as usually it never works out because everybody thinks they know everything, I would just do-it-yourself and then hire some kind of helper guy for like 80 bucks a day.
