I'm considering using the HUD $100 down program to purchase my first property.

If you're a vet, there are several federal programs for various types of loans.Once you find a niche, I recommend focusing on a specific geographic area.

The programs that they try to sell you, are very expensive.

It also appears to be linked/promoted by Sean Terry's Flip2Freedom academy, but you can create an account and have an order fulfilled whether or not you are part of Sean's program.

The "14 steps" scares me as it sounds like some "program" that may not apply to Fl.

Has anyone had success (or failure) buying rental properties using either the Fannie Mae Homepath or Freddie Mac Homesteps programs?

I found a program through Wells Fargo that will finance the purchase and rehab.

Hopefully such regulation would wipe out 80/90% of the "program gurus" and would put authors of "information" under a microscope as to the quality of information, experience and expertise of qualified counselors.
