It would be up to the two partners to agree on the terms of the arrangement and ideally put it all in writing.From a future loan qualification perspective this monthly payment will count against the debt to income ratio for all parties for future loans based on this bank/ car/ mortgage payment being reported to the credit bureaus.

Clearly some of these posts have not lived through the gravity of such a situation.Should she have been better prepared -ideally, but we are not always given this chance.Lets see how you perform when you have been bombarded with Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy especially with very little family support.Lets also take into account, she has rented here for 20 years and she is EIGHTY years of age - Is this how you think society should move forward.I understand business is business BUT lets put this into perspective here, we are talking 3 BOUNCED RENTAL CHEQUES!

For me, I have a lot of rentals to manage so if I have problem free tenants I want to keep them and I'd rather just invest my time and cash into buying additional properties rather than trying to squeeze a little more out of ideal tenants.
