if they cash the check the lease will be implied and if it goes to court there will be nothing in writing stating what the new rent is adn the court will rule in favor of the tenant.

I actually got my start in a similar fashion.

You may get a favorable conclusion with that lender by stating your case to them and letting them know that you will be disputing the information to the credit agencies and they can handle the response by simply not responding.  

@Curtis Collins Belize is certainly worth considering, as there is significant development taking place, a strong tourism industry, favorable ownership laws and all around beautiful country.

Maybe if you re-establish expectations in a friendly manner and in a way they can understand, they will respond favorably.

Like I said, once you notice wrong doing you are to act on it or you may lose your rights to use it in your favor.

Do yourself a favor and spend $150-$200 for a do it yourself website and put a couple pages of content ASAP if you are committed to the business.
