There are literally thousands of tourists who come here on vacation, have a great time and, acting more on emotion instead of any kind of financial analysis, buy a vacation home.

BUT before you give me your answer if it emotional based or for personal reasons then you are on the wrong message board!!!!  

Build process is an emotional roller coaster.

And you were better equipped to handle the transaction from a fundamental, knowledge stand  point and emotionally .. than someone who really has no experience in what it takes to actually buy and prosecute these deals either DIL work out or foreclosure.Any one who is giving advice on how to do anything in RE whether its free or they charge for it is a guru to some extent..

These projects are emotional and very very stressful and they frequently end up costing you more than you are prepared to handle. 

When you operate from an emotion point of view its very easy to allow yourself to become undisciplined and pay more or accept terms that should remain unacceptable.Always remain disciplined. 

Staying calm helps me listen and understand my tenant but also helps me stay in control of my emotions and stay focus.Talk Slowly & Observe -> As tension rises, I slow down and observed the situation.

Don't be get emotional about an investment and don't be afraid to ask questions on BP! 

It allows me to take all the emotion out of the deal. 

Most of all, don't get emotionally worked up (easier said than done, of course), but pragmatically evaluate your options.
