Driving for dollars is another way, which means you are looking for sale signs that ready,  'For Sale By Owner.'

Owning a condo in my area gives me the peace of mind that I can drive by whenever I want.

Drive a clean well maintained car, not too cheap, not too expensive (trust me, you're not going to get a deal showing up at someone's door driving a porsche, but no one is going to believe you have the money if you show up with a beat up old skoda either)6. put together a prospectus for your investors and sellers.

Who does not know a neighborhood that used to be nice and then drives by one day and says, "Wow.....Look what's moving in or my favorite, what happen to the HO association in that neighborhood.?"

Typically most investors will want to know how you're sourcing the deals (MLS, mailers, drive by, probate, etc) how you're looking to get paid (assignment of contract, percentage of price, equity position, etc) and things like that.

We can't find a plumber that won't charge at least $40 just to drive out to the property and they they charge for the repair on top of that.

A nice combination of lower property prices and job creation here is driving the influx.

Basically, I don't mind driving my little 95 truck around so I can use that money instead of a car note.
