Rarity isn't always the best thing especially if demand for this property type is low in your market.The reason I am bullish on adding ADUs is because I don't think the increased demand for ADUs is unique to New York.

I'm not sure if California would ever do anything to address this:-( is this just a hold over tenant that stopped paying or was it someone who broke in and actually squatted makes a big difference.

We have taken care of engineers and permits.Assume that there is reasonable access from the rear of the property - and these are all attached row homes.If anyone has recommendations for a good subcontractor we are all ears.
