Although I do know that 50k in the mid west would go much further than around here - which is bittersweet.

I need a referral for a GC for a HomeStyle Loan who can do/oversee plumbing and flooring on a foreclosure. The property is in NW Indiana near Cedar Lake.

@Joshua EsplugasYou can buy a house in some rough areas on the East or West Side and make over a 20% return based on the numbers (assuming they actually pay you the rent) but is that a house that you want to own long term?

@Steve Davis Commercial loans are like the wild wild west, guidelines are bent and broken a lot.

I've lived everywhere from east to west coast, owned and flipped half a million dollar homes in California etc.

West Hartford if you're in this town you're probably banking on appreciation, not cashflow.

Boise and the west side are exploding with growth and have opportunity for anyone that is looking.

At the end of the day it’s the Wild West and the ones you really have to look out for are you and yours.
