I can't speak for other markets, but in the charlotte metro area , months Supply of homes for Sale increased by just 20.0% to 1.2 months of inventory.

In fact every jurisdiction in the metro area limits them to 90-120 days...except city of Alexandria which recently made a change to their city code.
